Just a little sneaky look at some work I have been creating recently. A series of what I like to call deconstruction and reconstruction textiles titled 'my little floating home'. I find the reverse of such pieces really effective too, one day I plan to just display the backs.

Opening times over Frome Festival

I've been in my Black Swan studio today framing some of my new work, amongst drinking tea and chatting of course. Over the two weeks of Frome Festival Open Studios, my studio will be open the first launch week end and then Wednes to Saturday. I'm teaching a class in Millie Moon on the Sunday so afraid I wont be available in the studio.

Open Studios at Frome Festival

Aaaah the wall is finally painted....looks a little patchy but once I get some frames on there no one will be able to tell. Its all go now for Frome Festival and I'm little nervous (mostly down to the fact I won't get everything I want done) but very excited. There will be new work as well as 'oldies that are goodies' and some 'seconds' that I'm happy to leave the nest.
