As you can probably guess I'm bit tree mad. I was hunting through some of my photos and found this lovely fabric from my African travels. I just love the colours......... its inspired me to sew my own trees.

Cutting and sticking, making kids craft kits, meeting plush creatures, teaching ladies how to sew, eating biscuits, getting messy, lots of lovely natter, getting inky hands, teaching ladies to monoprint, saying goodbye to a beloved tree, drinking tea............................. all things thats have kept me from blogging and keeping you updated on the goings-on of Angela. Sorry.

Tree in the Window

Taking a little break from monoprinting, I have, with the help of Poppy Pitt and my trusty sewing machine, been creating a lovely handmade tree full of lush leaves for the shop front of Millie Moon Haberdashery Boutique, Frome.

Thanks again Poppy for helping me create a lovely happy tree, it was much fun and the snails, birds and butterflies enjoy dancing around it.
